Our Calvary Relief team served in Houma, LA the week of Feb. 20th through 25th, 2022!  As always, God was with us as we met people whose lives were in shambles, struggling not only with the loss of their homes, but the chaos of everyday life. God used our team to lead two people to the Lord & help two others realize they needed to rededicate their lives to the Lord. Seeing people’s lives transformed from utter despair to smiling with the hope of Jesus, right before our eyes, was a miracle. Being a witness to that was truly a blessing.

Houma, LA was hit really hard by Hurricane Ida and there is still so much destruction there - it’s really bad!  Only when you see it with your own eyes can you get a glimpse of the many shattered lives. And it’s only then, that God truly touches our hearts to help them. As we step out in faith to “go” & “do” as the Lord leads, He shows us His purpose for being there.
