Rebuild Deployment

In Sept. 2024, Hurricane Helene tore through western North Carolina, dumping extreme rainfall and causing catastrophic damage. Far beyond the physical help you extend to homeowners, the spiritual and emotional support you offer is even more important. Rebuild volunteers are working in Buncombe County to rebuild and repair homes damaged during this event.



​​​​​Our Calvary Relief team will be deploying to Asheville, NC on Feb. 15th - 20th, 2026 to help Samaritan's Purse rebuild homes that were lost during Hurricane Helene and share the hope and love of Jesus Christ. ​

Project Description: Volunteers will assist in rebuilding and repairing homes in Buncombe County, NC area. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Staff will instruct and guide volunteers through completion of rebuild tasks.

Additional Information: All meals are provided. Volunteers are housed in hotel-style rooms with beds (so no need to bring a blow-up mattress). Showers are available inside the facilities. No laundry facilities so bring enough clothes. Each volunteer will be given 2 orange SP tshirts (required to wear at worksite) and a green Calvary Relief tshirt to wear while traveling.

TOTAL COST: $300 which covers RT airfare, van/car rental, gas, & lodging - to be paid when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well).​
