Rebuild Deployment

Samaritan’s Purse is ministering to Buncombe County, NC in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. In Sept. 2024, Hurricane Helene tore through NC, causing catastrophic damage. Rebuild volunteers are working to rebuild and repair homes damaged during this event. They are planning to build/rebuild 500 new homes and 500 manufactured homes - much help is needed.
Our Calvary Relief team will be deploying back to Asheville, NC on December 6th - 11th, 2026 to help Samaritan's Purse rebuild homes that were lost during Hurricane Helene and share the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
Project Description: Volunteers will assist in rebuilding and repairing homes in Buncombe County, NC area. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Staff will instruct and guide volunteers through completion of rebuild tasks.

Additional Information: All meals are provided. Volunteers will be housed at the Hurricane Relief Center at the Cove. Twin beds are provided (so no need to bring a blow-up mattress). There are separate sleeping quarters for men and women. Showers are available inside the facilities. No laundry facilities so bring enough clothes. Each volunteer will be given 2 orange SP t-shirts (required to wear at worksite) and a green Calvary Relief t-shirt to wear while traveling.
TOTAL COST: $350 which covers RT airfare, van/car rental, gas, & lodging - to be paid when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well) OR if you decide to drive & meet us there, and use your vehicle while there, then no cost to you!
