Nov. 6th - 12th, 2023
Hurricane Idalia made landfall early Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023 in Florida as a strong Category 3 storm with winds of 125 mph, causing major destruction.
Another wonderful Calvary Relief trip! This time we served in Perry, Florida to help homeowners clear huge trees that fell in their yards during Hurricane Idalia. Homeowners were so very grateful - they had been overwhelmed with all the work that needed to be done following the hurricane and were amazed that God had brought us there to help them.

This was the last week Samaritan's Purse was in Perry, FL - they had been there for 2 1/2 months (since the hurricane hit). We helped finalize all that needed to be done so they could leave - they were so thankful! During the week there, 2 more people accepted Jesus as their Savior - totaling 87 new salvations since they got there a couple months ago. God truly works through these disasters to draw people unto Him - we are so thankful we could be part of His plan in doing that.
