Deploying to West Monroe, LA
(In response to Winter Storm Fern)
March 1st through 7th, 2026

Ice, snow and freezing rain from a powerful winter storm paralyzed much of north Louisiana leaving more than 100,000 household without electricity or water due to downed trees and power failures.  It also caused at least six deaths leaving people in that area devasted.

​​​​​Our Calvary Relief team will be deploying to West Monroe, Louisiana on March 1st - 7th, 2026 serving with Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team to help the people in the Ouachita and Richland Parishes and share the hope and love of Jesus Christ. â€‹

Project Description: Volunteers will assist homeowners affected by recent Winter Storm Fern and will help in Jesus' Name with debris cleanup and tree work. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Volunteers will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.  

We will be staying at:    â€‹

Fair Park Baptist Church, 

4412 Whites Ferry Road, West Monroe, LA

Additional Information:  Meals & sleeping quarters are provided. You will need to bring a twin-size air mattress or cot, linens, pillow, towels and personal hygiene items. Tools will be provided.  Make sure to bring long pants and sturdy boots or rubber boots.  Each volunteer will be given 2 orange SP t-shirts (required to wear at worksite) and a green Calvary Relief t-shirt to wear while traveling.

TOTAL COST: $400 which covers RT airfare, van/car rental, gas, & lodging - to be paid when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well).​
