Multiple rounds of heavy rain between August 11–16, 2026 caused severe and record‑setting flooding across Indiana. Waterways crested to historic levels, inundating neighborhoods, damaging infrastructure, and prompting large‑scale rescue operations
Our Calvary Relief team was scheduled to deploy to Central Indiana Sept. 14th through 19th, 2026 serving with Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team to help the people affected severe flooding and share hope and love of Jesus. Unfortunately, we needed to CANCEL this trip. But if you still want to deploy on your own, see www.spvolunteer.org.
Project Description: Volunteers will assist homeowners affected by recent flooding and will help in Jesus' Name with content recovery, debris cleanup, and mudout. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Volunteers will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.

Additional Information: Meals & sleeping quarters are provided. You will need to bring a twin-size air mattress or cot, linens, pillow, towels and personal hygiene items. Tools will be provided. Make sure to bring long pants and sturdy boots or rubber boots. Each volunteer will be given 2 orange SP t-shirts (required to wear at worksite) and a green Calvary Relief t-shirt to wear while traveling.
TOTAL COST: $375 which covers RT airfare, van/car rental, gas, & lodging - to be paid when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well).
