On Sept 7-8, Hurricane Lowell caused widespread damage on Kauai with 100+ mph winds, massive power outages, and hundreds of homes damaged/destroyed.  Poipu and the South Shore were among the hardest hit.  Click on picture above see damage in Kauai

Our CCOB Calvary Relief team will be deploying to Kauai to serve with Calvary Disaster Relief ministry of LaHabra, CA. The immediate goal is to assist Calvary Chapel Lihue with significant cleanup and repairs of their offsite retreat facility (clearing fallen trees, debris cleanup, and tarping/repairing roofs).

We will be staying at Calvary Chapel Lihue.  No special skills are required, all can help, but they especially need people who can run chainsaws and also need a cook.

Trip cost currently $450 (but may increase) and includes airfare, transportation, gas, lodging and meals (you may asked to contribute to food while there).  Need to bring blowup mattress, bedding and personal supplies.  Please PRAY about it, and if God puts it on your heart to go, please let us know ASAP

Trip payment is due when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well so sign up asap).
