The flooding in Kerrville, Texas, has been described as one of the worst disasters in the region's history. A "deadly flood wave" sent a 20-foot wall of water down the Guadalupe River, leading to widespread devastation. Af least 97 individuals are still missing, and 133 have died, including many children.

Our Calvary Relief team will be deploying to Kerrville, TX on July 27th through Aug. 2nd teaming up with Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ with those affected by this horrific flooding.​

Project Description:  Volunteers will assist homeowners with content recovery, debris cleanup, and mud outs. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Volunteers will be led and instructed by experienced team leads.

Accommodations:    Kerrville Bible Church, 898 Harper Rd, Kerrville, TX 78028.

Additional Information:  Volunteers need to bring twin-size air mattress or cot, linen, pillow, towel, and toiletries as well a long pants and sturdy boots. Tools will be provided, and volunteers are welcome to bring their own tool belts and small hand tools. ​

 

TOTAL COST:  $400  Cost will cover airfare, van/car rental, and gas.  Food and lodging is covered by Samaritan's Purse.  Trip payment due when registering for the trip so airline tickets can be purchased. (NOTE -if airfares go up significantly, cost of trip may go up as well so sign up asap).
